There is sufficient reason to believe that the information Anwar Ibrahim's press conference today on APCO will be the same one revealed by Malaysiakini yesterday. Since most of us do not pay subscription to Malaysiakini, we will not be able to read the lies and spin they have done. Why waste money, right?

The article claimed that APCO has offices in Tel Aviv. That should not be an issue at all. After all, many MNC in which their product and services are the ones we used daily do have office in Israel.
Not to downgrade the intellect of the writer, Tian Chua, he distinctively distinguish the difference between Jewish and Zionist. Nevertheless, as his intention is to show the Malaysian Government have links with Zionism, it sets out to do so well.
The article claimed "It is common knowledge that many of its key personalities and advisers are associated with Zionist Israel, e.g. Shimon Shein (former Israeli Ambassador to Germany), Itamar Rabinovich (former Israeli Ambassador to the US), etc."
Do Google for these names and one will only find Malaysian opposition blogs and portals in the list. Meaning they have spammed the names in the Internet that there are no information to actually prove that there were advisors of APCO, whether on a worldwide basis or for just within Israel.
Then another name is thrown into the article for safe measure. APCO CEO in Israel, Gad Ben-Ari, was a personal adviser of the late PM Yishak Rabin. Read APCO's page on Ged Ben-Ari here and oen should realied that he is a professional in communicatiosn providing communication advise and work for clients, which include the late Yishak Rabin.
It certainly is relevant for APCO's Israel to have a security personnel involve as in Doron Bergerbest-Eilon as advisers. Read his backgroundhere
They subsequently expanded into APCO's link with ASERO and Singapore. Finally they claimed APCO is accessible to sensitive information of Government. And off course the final link to 1Malaysia. Sounds sensational but why do we they need access to sensitive information to do communication support?
The question we should ask is what is APCO engaged specifically for in Malaysia. We should go back to the statement here to realise that its main role is "to assist in evaluating its capabilities to communicate through new media" and other communication support.
Communication support is what APCO provide to its clients worldwide and in the case of ASERO on matter of security and millitary issues.
In case they didn't know, 1Israel was a political campaign message. 1Malaysia was a feel-good public relation coined by PM himself and had already appeared on his blog months before his appointment as PM. This means the slogan and idea had existed way before APCO was appointed. Read blog AK57 here
